The Picks:

Chase Speedington Volume 1 Chase Speedington And The Last Dragon’s Breath GN – Papercutz releases a new action adventure title by Franco Aureliani, writer of Tiny Titans and numerous graphic novels for young readers, and artist Mike Hartigan. Chase Speedington is an intrepid young man of action. Working with his adopted mother, the Queen, he searches for the truth about his parents. His search brings him up against the Evil Eisenfaust, an encounter that sets in motion a series of events that leads Chase to the legend of the Dragon’s Last Breath! With the help of his friends, Chase finds clues he thinks will lead to his parents, but instead they lead to information that Dragons actually once existed on Earth, and that they can be brought back to life! Fans of thrilling adventure will love this fun and funny title.

Mika And The Chiller HC – Oni Press releases a sweet, simple story for young readers. Mika is a young explorer who faces familiar-yet-not-fully-known objects and obstacles around her house. She has encountered the Gurgler and the Howler, and now she meets her newest friend, the Chiller. The Chiller hides inside her kitchen, occasionally escaping when its door is opened. On a very hot day, Mika tries to let Chiller out to cool down the house, but Chiller starts to cry. Mika needs to find a way to cheer up her friend. Young readers will enjoy the delightful story and join Mika in learning how to care for others.
