Ten-Ton Titan Terrier GN – Papercutz releases a new sci-fi adventure about a boy and his dog and a giant robot. When the arrival of an asteroid unleashes a horde of alien monsters known as Bio-Titans, the Earth must find a way to fight back. Hope comes in the form of a suit of extraterrestrial battle armor, but there is a catch. The only creature on the planet capable of turning it on is an 11-inch-tall terrier named Holly. Sam, her scientist owner, must now train his mischievous mutt, putting their unique bond to the test, to stop the escalating Bio-Titan threat. Holly has become not just man’s best friend but humanity’s only hope. Fans of Pokemon, Pacific Rim, and Godzilla will love this title filled with over-the-top, monster-battling action.

Asgardians Volume 3 Loki GN – First Second releases the third volume in George O’Connor’s latest series about the Norse gods. Loki, the trickster god of the Aesir, remains awake while the rest of Asgard sleeps and dreams. He has much to think about, as he hearkens back to times long ago, when his trickster ways were needed when a barter for a new wall threatens to go bad. He remembers his challenge to the wolf Fenrir to break the strongest Dwarf-made chains, and Thjazi, the jotunn in the form of a monstrous eagle and his pursuit of the apples of youth. But mostly, he worries he has fallen out of favor with his blood brother Odin, and whether his cunning and wiles will be enough to worm his way back in, or if he should just burn it all down! While staying close to the original sources, O’Connor presents takes on these mythologies unlike any other. This is a must for any school library.
